This is a Fashionista Event and a promotional item was provided to me by Sweetworks. Hosts for this event are Still Blonde after all these Years and ModlyChic. #SweetworksPatriotic
The 4th of July is roughly 3 weeks away, which means party plans need to be progressing. Usually I’m all about the basics - burgers, beers and fireworks. And while the Fourth of July will certainly contain this elements, this year it will also include a candy bar. What could be better than a Fourth of July dessert bar?
No. Not a single candy bar you can enjoy and be done with. I’m talking about a candy smorgasbord. A table filled with Sweetworks candies of all shapes and sizes. The best part about this is that a candy bar is super simple to pull off and is bound to be a crowd favorite.
For this one I grabbed a bunch of different glass containers and filled them with Sweetworks candies. I baked a super simple chocolate cake, iced it with chocolate frosting and decorated it with red, white and blue stars. I made some simple cheese cream spritz cookies and added little Sweetworks pearls to them right as they came out of the over. Simple. Easy and a treat for all.
Next, a basic blue or red colored drink. If it’s a kiddie party blue Kool-Aid will do the trick. For adults try something like a Blue Hawaiian.
