New Job, New Beginnings and Coordinating it all in the Erin Condren LifePlanner ™

This is a sponsored post thanks to Erin Condren LifePlanner™. All opinions are my own. Honestly, it wasn’t hard to gush about this company.

Psst…. I have a secret. On July 10th I’ll be starting a NEW JOB! I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am. I’ll still be at the school I’ve been teaching at the last three years, but instead of being a full-time teacher I’m doing to be the Director of Marketing and Social Media. What, what?! (For any students reading this – I’ll still be leading the Capstone Project so you Seniors aren’t getting out of it. Sorry, not sorry.)  I’m so excited about this new position!

erin-condren1For this new position I am going to need to be really organized. For the last year I have been trying to use a bullet journal format to keep my life in track. I love that system, but I still crave the full calendar that a regular old school assignment notebook contains. But then I was sent an Erin Condren LifePlanner ™, and I’ve found the best of both worlds. For each day I can use the vertical day, which is conveniently broken up into three sections, to plan out what I need to do at work and for the blog. Plus, with the full month calendar at the start of each month, it will be easy for me to see the big picture as well so I am appropriately planning ahead for big events and school functions.

IMG_0603 IMG_0604I’ll admit I’m totally new to the Erin Condren way of life. Previously, I was using a basic moleskin notebook for my bullet journal and whatever assignment notebook I liked from Target at the start of each school year. But no longer!

This week I started breaking in the planner little by little as I prepare for new month. I love that these little pretties are totally customizable. The front and back cover can be any of dozens of options, and you can switch it out for a different style whenever you like. I grabbed the cactus design now, but could easily see myself changing it out come November for something more cold-weather appropriate. The daily planning element can be purchased in either a vertical or horizontal set-up, so you can pick what works best for you. I’m a list of to-dos type of girl so the long vertical set-up was ideal.

In addition to the month at a glance and the daily planning, the Erin Condren LifePlanner ™ also comes with pages at the start of each month to inspire you to dream big, as well as space to write down your goals and aspirations. The end of the notebook has space for more notes and more dreaming as well as coloring pages for anyone who is like me and occasionally needs that little unwind to make it through the week.

With stickers, colorful pens and a whole collection of various dashboards, such as wellness of monthly bill tracker, that can be snapped into the book, this pretty contains everything you’ll need to keep track of your life and to plan big for the future.

erin-condren5For the teachers out there, Erin Condren also offers a Teacher Lesson Planner, which from the pictures and descriptions looks amazing. If I was teaching full time again this year, I would totally be purchasing that to keep my lessons and teaching life in order.

A couple weeks ago I got the opportunity to see a bunch of Erin Condren items up close and personal at a party the company threw at Dylan’s Candy Bar in Chicago. If I wasn’t convinced before that about how useful and beautiful the products were, which I was, I would certainly have been convinced afterwards. I got to check out the extra snap-in components available, play with switching out the cover, explore the various sticker books available to really personalize your planning, and of course sip delicious sweet cocktails.

FullSizeRender 16 FullSizeRender 15Would love to hear from those who have used an Erin Condren LifePlanner ™  what tips and tricks you suggest for getting the most out of this organizing device. I’m so excited for the new job and this new way to keep everything straight.

These are so nice. I have tried many different types of planners but for some reason, I stick with lined notebook paper and a pen. I think these would be so great for teachers as well! Thank you for a great review.
