In order to gear up for the2014 Spring Fashionista Giveaway Event exciting event, I’ll spend the next week previewing the amazing companies I’m working with for the giveaway and the companies that have agreed to be Main Event sponsors. Here’s a sneak peek at what you could win.
I older I get, the more I pay attention to how and where things are made. I love shopping local stores and boutiques, partly because those stores often carry things you aren’t going to find on every other person walking down the street and partly because I like supporting small business. I also love things that are made in the US. And I’m especially in love with things that have a way of giving back through the purchasing process.
Jewels for Hope fills so many of these categories. The company is run by a mother-daughter team. They focus on creating beautiful, unique pieces that are often simple yet stunning. They pull inspiration from a wide variety of sources, from Audrey Hepburn to Janis Joplin. And it gets better… Jewels for Hope gives 10% of all proceeds from the sale to a number of amazing charities, such as Hospice and We Stop Hate. Their mantra is: “Look Great, Donate, and Go Green!” Pretty awesome, right?!
ThisRockstar Charity Bracelet in green is a new favorite of mine and has been on constant rotation since it arrived in the mail. It works well on its own and stacked in an arm party. The Beautiful Swarovski Green crystals have a slight brown shimmer making this a totally stand-alone bracelet. Plus, for those with small or large wrists, this company custom makes each item so you can have a bracelet or necklace that fits you perfectly. (I need this since bracelets are constantly moving around my small wrists.
Proceeds from this bracelet go toward The Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County! Plus, this beauty was showcased and gifted to the biggest names in CountryMusic backstage at the CMA Country Music Association Gift Lounge. (Did you know I love country music. True life. Thanks dad.)
As part of the Fashionista Giveaway Event (March 6-14) I’ll be gifting one of these Rockstar Charity Bracelets to one lucky reader! That’s a $110 value!
