Usually in the fall, I’m all about the layers. Long-sleeved t-shirts with sweaters or vests, maybe topped off with a scarf or chunky necklace – all layered under a coat. But sometimes it’s nice to have a couple basic items that work as a layering item or can stand-alone. This long-sleeved, leopard-print sweater is just that item. It works really well all by itself paired with jeans or this maxi skirt. It’s also perfect for layering when the weather gets much colder.
I tend to stay away from matchy-matchy looks. I prefer the use of coordinating colors and something unexpected. But every now and again I also love finding a way to draw in certain outfit elements. The studs on the purse go with the studs on the shoes and the small studs in my ears. I feel like it helps bring the elements into focus without overwhelming.
