Even if this year’s official color was tangerine tango, Cobalt has been my color of 2012. I’ve rediscovered my love for this vibrant blue hue. It is paired so easily with a variety of colors. It can be worn with black or brown, denim or other bold colors. For being such a bold color it really has a lot of mixing and matching potential.
I wore this outfit for a family function earlier in the month. It was a little dressy, a little comfortable, and very me. I especially liked it paired with the orange necklace, as a way to bring another color into the mix and a point of interest with a basic dressy shirt. Plus cobalt and tangerine are a great combination – hello, just think of the Chicago bears.

Cobalt will always seems fresh and mod and new to me. LOVE it! I think it is unofficially the it color and I predict it will give Emerald a run for 2013′s money!
