Casual Fridays

by katyrose on November 16, 2012

To be honest, every day in my office is a casual, or super-casual day. Jeans on a Tuesday? Sure. T-shirt, sweatshirt on a Thursday? Perfect. Still, I try to dress up daily, even on the days I wear jeans. To me, black denim is a great middle of the road clothing option. They are as comfortable as classic blue denim and yet they can look a little more put-together than blue jeans. Pair that with a pair of heels or more dressy shoes and you have a great casual Friday outfit that will pass by most offices’ dress codes. Plus, if you happen to have a spur-of-the-moment meeting on a Friday, your outfit will still be appropriate for most appointments.

Does your office have casual Fridays? What is your favorite thing to wear on those days?

Tip: Just because it’s casual Fridays doesn’t mean you can’t be chic. Go ahead, dress up your jeans.

we have a pretty casual dress code, so no casual fridays as all week is casual. As long as I skip the deep cleavage and too short skirt hem, I am good. I prefer the more classy look anyways. I agree on the black jeans, it definitely works wonders and feels semi-casual in any way! You look awesome with that burgundy shirt, lovely and super comfortable!
