Versatile Winter Shawl

by katyrose on October 9, 2012

I’m a big fan of shawls and scarves, especially in the colder months. The creators of Shawl Dawls have come up with the perfect piece to bundle up in when the winter really steps in. I received this amazing leopard-print shawl a couple months ago, but the fleece material made it impossible to wear during the summer months. Now that I am in Milwaukee and it has already hit 30* one night, I have begun bundling up already. The very first thing I reached for was the Shawl Dawl piece.

According to the creators there are more than 15 different ways to wear the shawl. When the shawl arrives in the mail, it comes with a little cheat sheet of pictures showing you the various ways to drape the material to create new looks. You can also watch the video they have on the site. I experimented with a few different options and came up with two of my own as well. With a little creativity you are sure to find many more than 15 draping possibilities.

The fleece material is unbelievably warm. As soon as you put the shawl on you never want to take it off. Ok, you also want to curl up by a fire, with a good book and a mug of hot chocolate. There are a variety of patterns and colors in this fleece design, so if you are not a fan of the animal print there is something else for you. They have also branched out and are now producing a variety of similar shawls, including warm-weather ones.

Shawl Dawls is one of my Fall Fashionista Event Giveaway sponsors. In just TWO days you will have the chance to win one of two shawls up for grabs. Make sure you come back to enter for a chance to win.

Here are 8 different ways I can envision myself wearing the shawl:

Cute! A few I don’t like but most I do. I also love that fabric. Turns ordinary jeans and block top into something FAB in two seconds!! Is it Warm?
