After last week’s post of an alternative option for the business suit, I started looking at my closet in a whole new light. It turns out I have quiet a few things that could be consider professional attire, while still maintaining my personal style and a little flare. I started experimenting to see what other young professional outfit alternatives I could come up with.
This outfit uses the suit pants I’ve had for years but it ditches the classic but monotone suit jacket for something a little more fun. The outfit is still pretty classic and conservative, perfect for a job that requires a more strict dress code. The brown purse helps to complete the look and add another interesting element. I like how the brown works with the black and green.
Tip: You’d be surprised the things you can create with the things already in your closet. Take a step back and look at what you own with a different eye.

I love that green jacket and black trouser look.
I tend to stock up on jackets with a bit of colour, and plainer bottom halves for work, they are versatile but they work really well as ‘office attire’.

If they don’t give you the job when you walk in the room looking like this..they are just WRONG! Love the military jacket with the black. I have never done this combo, but will now!! Oh YES, I will
Love it.
That jacket is lovely! and it really does shake up the old standby pantsuit awesomely!
