Sometimes I wonder where the time goes… I received this Fresh Produce skirt months ago. But with packing, the move, family issues, job searches etc… somehow it got caught at the bottom of a bag I just managed to empty. Crazy, since it is a style and color that I love. The What It Seams Swing Skirt reminded me of the tango, or any other Latin-inspired dance that involves twirling skirts. Maybe that’s why I decided to pair it with a pair of heels instead of the usual flats I initially reached for based on the uneven hemline. The material is so comfortable that this skirt was so easy to wear all day.
I opted for the watermelony color because I thought it would be perfect for the summer months. Now that the weather is turning cold I will need to get more creative with ways to wear it and still look prepared for the Midwest winters. (Can you believe it was 60* when I stepped out of the house at 7am this morning?! Too soon!)
The only downfall of this skirt is that the material is thick but still pretty sheer. I put it on initially with a different top and then turned around to check the look from all sides and boy am I glad I did. The pattern on my underwear was clear as day. So it’s definitely the type of skirt that needs to have undergarments planned accordingly.
I wish I got a picture of the way is swirled and flowed when I went up and down stairs. It made me feel like a little girl spinning in her favorite dress. So feminine!
Tip: Make sure to check your appearance from all angles before walking out of the house. (especially the backside!)
