After months and months of bright colors and fun patterns, I’m not looking forward to the usual blacks and grays of the winter months – especially now that I am living in a place where it snows OFTEN! As a result, I’m trying to make decisions about fall and winter clothing that will bring color into my closet without standing out like a sore thumb. This dress from eShakti is a great transitional piece! It is a thicker material than most of my Summer dresses, making it easy to throw on in the morning when it’s cold and keep on when the day warms up by the afternoon.
I talk about this company all the time… but if you’ve missed it. I am telling you – buy your next dress from them! They have a huge selection of dresses. But it gets even better. You can tweak the dress to your specifications. You want it to fall at, above or below your knee – no problem. You want to add sleeves, re-create the neckline? They can do that too. This dress is meant to have cap sleeves, but I wanted the little extra coverage that short sleeves provide so I requested the addition of sleeves. The site also requires you to input your height, in order to make sure the hemlines and such are proportionate! You don’t have to worry about the length being alright. Oh, and you can either pick one of the sites standard sizes or you can input each of your measurements in order to get a perfect fit! The best part about all the tweaks? They only cost an additional $7.50! Not bad, and certainly cheaper than taking it to your local seamstress to have her lengthen or shorten the hemline.
