Peek-a-boo… I’m back

My absence from the blog lasted longer than I expected. To my faithful readers, sorry about that!

I have been busy wrapping up my job to hand it over to the person who will fill my shoes, packing my life possessions, shipping a few boxes, saying goodbye to friends, scratching off a couple things from the Boston bucket list and my 101 in 1001 list, coordinating a Boston Blogger mixer, organizing a blogger campaign with one of my favorite brands, publishing my second book… that through it all blogging (and a healthy internet connection) became a thing of the past. Can you tell that I am one of those people who tends to bite off more than I can rationally chew at any one time. And yet, I still manage to get a vast majority of the things done. What can I say? I work well under pressure.

As it is, I am now sitting in a Starbucks near the small town I am vacationing in for the month of August and pre-posting the next several days worth of blog entries because heaven only knows when I will have time to get here again. I thought the internet connection where I am staying would be faster. But alas – it is not and I am either stuck waiting 10 minutes to get an email to load or plotting out Starbucks time once a week to be productive.
