The final day my sister was in town, Boston weather finally decided to cooperate and show her what a glorious city this is in the summer time. Of course, as an avid runner, I had to take her down to the Charles River to show her the running path I try and trek weekly. I had her snapping pictures and imagining what it would be like to live here in a city so focused on running. Her little Chicago suburb is great but pales in comparison to the running prowess of Boston. (Ah another thing I will miss when I move from here!)
Can I just say I love maxi dresses at this time of the year because since it is still not super warm out you need a little extra warmth, but since it is summer and you wish it were warm you want something that gives off the summer vibe. This maxi is often a hot number, literally, in the sweltering summer weeks. But it is perfect for the days when it is in the 60s or 70s.
Tip: With some exceptions, if something works and looks good on you, it doesn’t matter how long it’s been part of your closet.
