Taking outfit pictures outside is always preferable, but man, there are times when the wind and weather just will not cooperate with what you want to do. In each of these pictures my hair is being wind blown – model style. And trust me, these are the least crazy shots. Some of them I had a little mohawk or funny flip going on. Oh, the drama of outfit of the day pictures.
On another note, the weather is beginning to finally reach a point where a winter coat is not needed. In fact there are times when a simple jacket is enough! Love that time of year. This trusty, often-worn boyfriend blazer is the perfect Spring accent. It adds a little warmth without overwhelming. I’ve been reaching for it more and more these days. These jeans, too, are my must-wears. They just fit so well and feel so great on.
Sidenote: I wore this outfit over the weekend when I ended up going to a country line dancing bar. I lost the boyfriend blazer and replaced it with my brown leather jacket. But it didn’t stay on too long once we start boot scooting. I know, I know, line dancing? In Boston? But it was actually a lot of fun. Plus I love the fact that it is something a little different from the usual bar/club/weekend scene. Have you ever been? It’s fun – I swear!
Tip: Sometimes all you need to go from day to night is a jacket switch.
