Recently, some friends and I went to the Jazz brunch at Beehive on Tremont St. If you are ever in Boston on a Saturday morning, this place is worth checking out. The food is pretty unique as is the space. And the live jazz music is certainly worth checking out – just make sure you call ahead for reservations. We ended up eating brunch at 2pm. Whoa! I ordered the french toast which was fried and utterly delectable. Yummy!
The place is known for its hipster vibe, especially during the brunch period. (at night it’s a different story) To fit in but not stand out too much with the hipster feel I opted for this three-colored skirt which has been sitting in my closet unworn since the fall. It turns out it is a lot harder to create outfits with this particular skirt than I thought it would be. I went with the simple black t-shirt and then the cropped jean vest which I made from a thrifted jean jacket I picked up at a clothing swap last year. The whole outfit is not very me, but it got several positive comments about it’s bohemian vibe. I suppose that works well with the hipsters. (I’m so not a hipster so I have no idea. LOL)
Tip: Force yourself to wear that clothing item that is sitting in your closet untouched. Give it a try and if you can’t make it work give it to a friend or sell it. No use keeping it in your closet.

I think you look very hip and cool:) The skirt is great, and I’m sure you could swap the denim for a leather jacket to create a different outfit!
