Mimi Boutique featured me on its Jolt My Style, blogger series. As part of that feature, the company sent me this stunning orange scarf and the gray purse. I needed to style the items into an outfit that was so me. The orange scarf is a stretch for me, as I tend to stay very safely in the blue-hued family. When I pulled it out of the box I loved the look and feel of the scarf but I worried about how I would find anything in my closet to pair with it. Surprisingly it was a lot easier than I would have thought. I’m now wrapping this little thing around my neck several times a week.
The purse is definitely very me – large and statement-making! Love. The muted gray color goes with nearly everything. The size of the purse is perfect for carrying everything I need on a day to day basics, although it does not fit my computer. It does have a great zipper pocket in the back, perfect for my cell phone.

I love anything orange. Also love the new hair length and leggings with a skirt? I thought I was the only one who did that. Leggings are more comfortable for me than tights. I’m very uncomforatble by the end of the day

I love that first shot of you! And yes- a bright accessory does wonders for an outfit. But honestly? I hate myself in scarves. I think I look funny. Silly, because they totally help an outfit.

Well I love all sorts of bright colors but I think almost anyone can pull off orange especially when in an accent item like a scarf. I like how you’ve got it paired with the jacket. I think it looks great!
