I’m pretty much the furthest thing you can get from a hipster – ok well maybe not the furthest but pretty darn close. But when I wear a look like this I feel very much like I’m giving off some hipster vibe – like I should be sitting in a coffee shop strumming a guitar and contemplating my next extreme facial piercing.
Ah, well… it’s fun to pretend.
Tip: When adding accessories to a bland-colored outfit always try to think of how you can add a little pop of something to polish off the full look.

I think it’s the hat and the scarf. I feel the same way whenever I wear those two pieces together – very grad-student-y.
