Final 30 for 30

by katyrose on March 22, 2011

Thank you to everyone who was sweet enough to comment on yesterday’s post about my young adult novel. It’s such an exciting time for me. Anyway, it’s about time I finished this challenge! So here below are the final two outfits of the 30 for 30.

Outfit 29 of 30: Basic corporate attire.

Pants: New York & Co.
Shirt: Tommy Bahama, scored from swap
Jacket: Target
Shoes: Payless

Outfit 30 of 30: My attempt to go out with a color bang after trying to use more color in my daily outfits during the 30 for 30 Challenge. Also, my attempt to try and make my hair curl with the new short cut. I think I need to work on it more – UGH

Skirt: homemade,  scored from swap
Shirt: H&M
Scarf: H&M
Boots: Macy’s

You rock that hair like none other! It really frames your face beautifully and shows off your awesome cheekbones.

I love the skirt! It was homemade? Plus a swap find. I really think I need to do a clothing swap with some of my friends! Great outfits!

I really like the booties, and colorful skirt. I’m not sure what you use in your hair I love Garnier Frutcis’ XXL volume mousse. I used a little bit, and I have wavy/curly hair.

for what it’s worth, i use – and LOVE – paul mitchell’s fast form creme gel. i think the bottle is around 20 oz & it cost about 18$-25$, but i’ve had it since november and there’s still about a third of it left. i don’t know if you’re scrunching up wet hair, or actually doing something with dry, but i use it on mine when it’s still pretty wet & it doesn’t end up really crackly gross when it dries.

what’s the record on your wall?

That skirt is such a find! And from the swap! I think the curly hair looks fab as well. Love the juxtaposition of these photos, sleek corporate with straight hair and curly hair and colorful. I don’t know how you made it 30 days!
