Hey ModlyChic readers, this is Liz from Lizzypunch! I was so thrilled when Katy asked me to guest post while she’s away! This is my 17th look in the 30 for 30 remix challenge and probably one of my favorites thus far. I was excited to delve into a little pattern mixing with this striped top and floral cardigan. Instead of going with plain black tights I opted for this hunter green pair for my stems and topped it all off with these gorgeous gifted earrings from my sister!
I thought I’d give a little tip like Katy!
Lizzypunch Tip: A fool-proof way to pattern mix is to keep your items in the same color palette!
Earrings: gift from my sister
Striped tank top: ModCloth, Made in the US
Floral cardigan: Thrifted, Buffalo Exchange
Black skirt: Thrifted, Crossroads
Tights: gift from my Mom
Flats: gift from my Mom
(without my family I’d never be fully dressed!)
You may notice that two essential parts of my outfit are thrifted. On Lizzypunch I’m trying to focus on choosing more ethical clothing by thrifting, buying Made in the US garments and overall limiting my shopping! If that sounds interesting, please stop by and say hello!

Oh and don’t forget… My stylist, Anthony, is going to give any one who mentions me, Katy Rose, a 15% discount till March 31st! Sweet, right? So now all you New Englanders you have no excuse not to go and experience the wonder that is Anthony David Salon in Burlington, MA.

So cool to see you here!
Love your pattern mixing – so pretty!
Gorgeous earrings, too.
I like the tip on mixing a pattern with stripes– generally something I avoid but I think I’ll give it a shot. It goes really well on your outfit
